The world’s largest social networking site Facebook is planning to capture the rural market. On the basis of this Company in the rural areas of India is preparing  to impose on a large number of Wi-Fi hotspot. Under the pilot project,FB along with  governmental telecom company BSNL has prepared Express Wi-Fi project

After this short introduction with the BSNL now FB is moving towards commercial launch. For this, the company has begun discussions with various ISPS (Internet Service Providers). Even if it is being seen as Facebook’s strategy, but it directly benefits will be people.

Facebook Express Wi-Fi service is not free. Through local hotspot, Company  reaches cheap, fast and reliable internet to the villages. If the company is successful then would be delivered faster Internet in rural India and it will boost the government’s Digital India initiative.

Although social networking site still did not disclose the name of the Internet Service Providers. Facebook India spokesperson said that we are testing now express Wi-Fi service and our aim to deliver faster and cheaper internet.

Facebook for rural markets has been developing a well-defined software that helps Internet service providers. With its help people in the rural areas will get good network And they will be interlinked 24X7.

On the other hand, the Under Nilgiri Project Google and Indian railway have launched free Wi-Fi service in the major railway stations of the country .

By July 2016,  20 million people have taken advantage of the free Internet on 19 railway stations. Under the project, 400 stations  Wi-Fi service will be given free. Because of this will not be easy for FB to capture Internet market.
