According to Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday “Apple is going to ditch lightning port charging by using USB Type C-Port in upcoming iPhone 8″. The lightning Port is firstly introduced in iPhone 5 and now according to wall street journal report apple could make this huge change for USB Type C-Port.

Nowadays, mostly android smartphone company’s using USB Type C-Port charging in some flagship and mid-range phones. Its very strange to hear that Apple going for USB Type C-Port in iPhone 8.  According to rumor, if it’s true then it will be a big change in Apple iPhone and its also give a big impact on Apple market reputation. Because OnePlus, Motorola, LeEco Le already using USB Type C-Port for charging and LeEco is using for audio also.

And another surprising news is, that Apple also is going to drop USB Type A port at the source end of the power cable with USB Type C port to enable the customers to charge their handsets using Macbooks.

Reportedly, iPhone 8 will not bear a physical home button, and according to rumor, you can expect integration of an OLED display for home button and navigation.
