Gujarati Writer Taarak Mehta, mostly known for his columns which are adapted for a TV serial Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah and best known for the column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma in the Gujarati language, died today at the age of 88 after prolonged illness. Taarak Mehta indents his body to donate it to science after his death. His death made whole the TV followers sad. His Place will never get fulfilled in Indian TV cinema.

Taarak Mehta was Born in 1929, He has written over 80 books and six popular Gujarati plays. He was honoured with Padma Shri in 2015. We salute the legend and pray for his soul to rest in peace. Taarak Mehta belongs to a Nagpur family and lived in Ahmedabad since 2000. It is said that he had two wives, first wife Ila who died in 2006. He stayed with his second wife Indu over 30 years now.
