Sana Mir – Pakistan Women Cricket team Captain, Icon, Inspiration

Sana Mir is the Pakistani Women’s Cricket team Captain in ODI and former captain in t20. Mir was born on 5 January 1986 (age 31) in Abbottabad, Pakistan. She has done bachelors in Statistics and Economics. Her father is an Army man, her first coach was her own brother. Sana Mir is the fast bowler from the heart as she had to turn out as an off-spinner due to her back injury. She got inspired a lot by Wasim-Waqar duo.  Mir leads Pakistan to two gold medals in Asian games 2010 and 2014 respectively. She has announced the Player of the tournament in ICC women’s Qualifier. She has been in Top 20 ODI bowlers for last 9 years. She is the First Pakistani women to take 100 wickets in ODI.
